Francisco Jos de Goya y Lucientes (1746-1828), born in Zaragoza, Spain, is a Spanish Romantic painter.

Goya's painting style is strange and changeable. From the early Baroque style to the later works similar to expressionism, he always changes all his life. Although he never established his own school, he has a great influence on the realism, romanticism and Impressionism of later generations. He is a transitional figure connecting the past and the future. The masterpieces include "the naked Maha", "the dress Maha", "the parasol", "the giant" and so on.
